Our story

The Center for Peace, Conflict and Elections is a nonpartisan Think Tank.

CPCE is an international NGO is fully registered in Somalia. It is an independent think tank dedicated to research, analysis and policy discussion of national, regional and international issues and concerns and plays a key role in the thematic areas of peace; strategic peacebuilding; conflict analysis and resolution; promotion of democracy and good governance; building positive behavioural change as well offering support towards electoral reforms.

Vision

Peace and Progression for all humans spearheaded by effective states, institutions and entities that are accountable to their citizenry.

The Main Objectives of CPCE are:

To work closely with government, advocacy groups, civil society, leaders and citizens, to help achieve solutions to societal problems through research, advocacy, public education and awareness, praxis and system design thinking and other strategies.

To offer practical, sustainable and durable solutions through system design thinking and modelling tailored to understanding, designing, strategizing and giving an output (operational formula) to specific programs, entities, government and institutional needs.

To conduct trainings, civic education and engagement, awareness and sensitization, outreach programs to address societal concerns at the national, regional and international realm.

To foster peace, well-being and self-actualization of humans all over the world by expanding understanding and through the provision of a tailored platform for dialogue, building enduring partnerships and catalyzing strategic solutions for example, through systems and design thinking and modelling.

To champion institutional reforms, promote democracy, transparency, electoral reforms and enhance the participation of women, youth, elders and the citizenry at large in the political processes.

To take such steps by personal or written appeals, private meetings, public meetings or representations to parliament, government entities and other bodies as may be deemed expedient to promote any of the objects of the Organization.

To raise, secure and utilize funds for the attainment of any or all objects of the Organization with utmost good faith and accountability; and to do such other things as are incidental or conducive to the attainment of these objects.
